Snacking is an all time favorite things to do for many of us and saying that, we can agree that food runs out pretty quickly. I am no cook at any means or form which limits my cooking capabilities even more. I came up with the easiest and quickest recipes that will fill up your tummy for a while- until you actually go out and get proper food. All of these require no level of skill for cooking and for sure they take only like 10 minutes tops. I am going to make this article short and sweet, so that you can be reading less and cooking more.
- Chocolate mug Cake.
If you guys have been following me on Instagram you will know that I love my mug cakes. This is super easy and simple to make and just needs only a few table spoons of 5 ingredients. This is the perfect substitute for a piece of cake but it comes in a mug.

2. Homemade garlic bread
Making garlic bread at home doesn’t need to be fancy, but if you want a quick nibble this is just perfect. Giving normal toast a twist, this is your perfect way to cheat garlic bread- just like the mug cake above.
To make this, first you need to make a garlic paste that fits for about one 1/2 tea spoon. To make this paste all you got to do is to nicely mash some garlic mixed with butter, cheese- (optional), pinch of salt and pepper. You can keep adding these until you like the flavour- there is no specific measurement for this. Then apply it on the bread and put it in a pop up toaster and enjoy!
Simple and easy!
3. Make yourself a custom juice/ smoothie.
If you have nothing at home, it basically means that you have tons of leftovers with what you can’t make a normal combination of. There are so many kitchen “accidents” that turn out to be the most amazing food/ drink or even a dessert. A smoothie basically needs a vegetable/ fruit and maybe water or some milk. Get creative and blend them together to see how mind blowing it can get. There are so many recipes that you can get off Pinterest, Buzzfeed and even YouTube.
Here is living proof how the Dolan Twins made it work (food session starts at 11:48)- and what’s the morale- experimenting with food can be bad, but it can also be the best thing that ever happened to you. (And yes, I reference to pasta with maple syrup!)
Like I mentioned in the start, being in the kitchen and being able to cook was something that was never up my alley, so I made sure that these are easy to make even if you are as inexperienced as me. This is why I made sure there were no gas, fire, boiling, chopping or deep frying involved. The reason why I wrote about these are because these are basically made off the “leftovers” from previous food making that really wouldn’t come to your mind to really make something out of.
