July movie recommendations

Hello everyone!

I love movies and it has come to a point where I just watch them as a hobby so I thought- why not share some good movies with you guys?! 

I want to create a list of 7 movies that I love each month so that in case you haven’t checked them out yet and are bored without knowing what to watch- you will always have some recommendations here.

Also, in case you want to check out some of the most iconic chick flicks you can read this article for 50 recommendations! 

P.s- don’t worry, there are no spoilers. I triple checked to make sure I didn’t. 

#1- Life as we know it (2010)

If you guys love kids but also want a rom com this is one of the best movies ever. Starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel, the movie stars has all the feels from happiness, sadness, intrigue and that amazing mushy feeling of love. If you guys follow me on my Instagram, you guys know how much I keep saying about this. This is so far my favourite movie and it is a MUST watch!

#2- Little Women (2019)

This movie is the modern reprise of the very famous novel written by author Louisa May Alcott. This modern re make stars notable actors such as Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Emma Watson, Meryl Streep, Laura Dern and Eliza Scanlen. I don’t even want to explain how beautiful this movie is, and how authentic and true to the true origin this story is. If you are are up for a classic, I highly recommend you watch this!

#3- Overboard (2018)

If you are in the mood for a good laugh, watch this latest remake of this famous rom com. It is a movie about riches, true love and choices that needs to be made in order to live a happy life according to your rules. The movies stars Eugenio Derbez, Anna Faris and Eva Longoria.

#4- Big Miracle (2012)

If you are a lover of animals, then you will love this movie. Based on Tom Rose’s 1989 book Freeing the Whales that covers operation Breakthrough, the real life 1988 international effort to rescue gray whales trapped in ice near Point Barrow, Alaska. Starring Drew Barrymore as the Greenpeace volunteer who helped mark this historic journey and Josh Krasinski as the news reporter in Point Barrow, Alaska that shared the devastating news to the world, this movie is about love that is beyond life and eternal freedom.

#5- Passengers (2016)

If you still have’t seen this popular Sci-fi/ Romance movie, this is a must. Starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt who are two awakened passengers on a sleeper spaceship on course from Earth to the planet Homestead II, this is a movie about a journey that is supposed to last for 120 years. 

#6- The Intern (2015)

This is one of my personal favourite movie for “corporate advice.”

This movie is about a 70 year old man who realises that he is not cut out for retirement just yet. He then applies to a to a senior citizen intern program at bout The Fit, a fast-growing e-commerce fashion startup and not only inspires everyone he works with but taught the CEO that no one should ever be hard on them self, to give second chances to things that matter the most and that there was a life to live beyond working. 

#7- The Bling Ring

Based on true events, this movie is about the scandal that occured in Calabasas, California during October 2008 through August 2009 when a group of seven teenagers and young adults broke into homes of Celebrities and stole their cash and belongings worth about $3 Million.

    Oh wow. I love #1 and #6. Those movies have a lot in common with my life and they explain a lot about how we live. Its amazing! Should try watching the rest too. Thanks for the movie recommendations! Waiting till you put out the August recommendations also! 😊
